Job Description
As a Fiber I/R Technician, you will install, repair, and maintain telecommunications equipment, specializing in fiber optics.
Responsibilities:
Install and repair telecommunications equipment, focusing on fiber optics.
Conduct FTTH installations and drop work.
Adhere to safety practices and procedures.
Coordinate with teams to complete assignments and meet service objectives.
Maintain professional image and promote company products.
Perform physically demanding tasks, work at heights, and in various weather conditions.
Utilize computer systems for job assignments and documentation.
Requirements:
Fiber I&R Experience
Must use personal truck, SUV or van with a 28 ft. ladder/rack and Fiber meter, Fiber Splicer and other equipment
Must have valid Driver’s License, registration, & auto insurance
Must have necessary Certificate of Liability (including Auto, General, & Workers Comp Liability Insurances)
Complete work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with industry standards
Have schedule flexibility to meet constantly changing customer demands
Exceptional communication & customer service skills
Cannot be afraid of heights and must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
Must possess basic computer skills

Job Description
As a Structured Cabling Technician , you will be a member of a team responsible for upgrading client low voltage wiring infrastructure which includes wire pulling, pathway construction, cable termination, splicing, labeling, and data network cabling.
Specific Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Must have ability to install, terminate and test low voltage & fiber optic cables (to include single mode & multi-mode fiber optic cables, coax, Cat5/6, standard & solid conductor low voltage cable,)
Dress and route cable into telecommunications closets, through attics, conduit, and between floors into apartments, and other work areas per job specifications
Identify and remove redundant cabling
Install Panduit, conduit, and/or innerduct
Fire-stop various types of cable penetrations
Ensure all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations
Read and comprehend technical schematics, operation manuals, maintenance instructions and procedures
Identify color codes for 568A, 568B, 6 strand fiber, 12 strand fiber, 25 pair and 50 pair.
Complete projects within budget, on time, and in a safe manner
Maintain the company’s high standards of quality and professionalism with regards to workmanship, customer relations, and team members.
Submit all paperwork on time
Adhere to all required project specific as well as company safety requirements
Perform other duties as needs arise
